Purple leaves?

Hey everyone im new here and i just started growing. I was wondering why the leaves on one of my plants started turning purple, is it a bad thing or not?

this an outdoor grow? we've had some chilly days here in the north east...it's probably cold shock...

Ya this is an outdoor grow, i was thinking the same thing but i wasn't sure, are the leaves going to stay purple? I'm actually about to bring my plants indoors this week because i know they won't survive in this weather.

if you regulate the temps to it, it should correct itself...but they almost look frost damaged...i'd get that inside asap...

cool temps and when they get rained on, they will turn purples, as most of mine have, really cool looking plants

When temperatures drop to 50 degrees F. or lower the intake of phosphorus is inhibited resulting the purple discoloration.

ya i fucked up and planted them way too late in the season but i still started them outside and ill keep them growing inside, all i need is a light. Whats the best light to use for 4 plants?
