Purple leaves on jack herrer seedling

Hey guys so i came home from work to my seedlings turning more purple. Since they sprouted all seedlings have been showing signs of purpling nd i have no idea why its crazy because ive never seen anything like it before. Any infor would be greatly appreciated thanks.

is that soil?

if so is it potting soil? or a hot mix containing fertilizers?

have you fertilized or just water?

Its soil " foxfarm ocean forest mixed with black golds organic soil and also some perlite to help with drainage. I have been using zero nutes so far i usually dont start nutes until the 4th or 5th node

Ive also been watering with rain water its been raining alot in california so i decided to collect some water the ph runs about 6.0 flat.

im not familiar with black gold

but maybe your soils to hot for that strain

if the black gold is also hot like the fox farm you might ask around to find out what a better option is

either try and wait it out
try and flush the soil
or re-pot into potting soil or potting soil fox farm 50/50 mix

I would imagine those are the options

maybe wait to see what others say before jumping to my conclusion because im not positive

You could be right i think ill give them a couple weeks nd just keep feeding water and see how they do. Thing that really tricks me is ive never seen purple nute burn. Usually they would burn up from tips and turn yellow and brown correct?

I don't actually think I have either

it looks like P def

but I cant imagine how it could be with a hot mix of soil and a tiny plant like that

could you scoop it out with a good portion of the soil and set it in some 50/50 mix and water it in? or maybe the roots are to fragile... it would be good to hear from someone whos done it before

I've had the same problems with the same soil (b&g organic) purpling & a slight droop on most sprouts, they grew out of it like 10 days later and lasted a fucking long time without food so yeah its probably a bit hot.

Personally, if i had to choose between the two I'd go with ocean forest,perlite & dolomitic lime.

the only thing about the lime

would it push your ph up in those soils?

Well then that pretty much clears it up because i justt recently bought this soil nd this is my first time using it so maybe the soil is a bit hot. I guess the best thing to do would be to just water with PHd water until they start showing they are hungry? I wouldnt want to risk transplanting at such a young age. Last time i did that they stressed out really bad on me
