I don't want to sound rude, but you cut those like 3 weeks too early. GDP is a 9 week strain. The sixth and seventh week are when they really swell, week 8 they ripen up, and the last week they continue to ripen and turn purple, if the temperature is nice and low for the off hours. All and all you did a great job, but your yield will be a lot less than what was possible, the flowers aren't that purple, and the high won't be as stoney as it should be. Early harvest= whispy buds, racier high. You kept them proper for their whole lives, so nice job.

your mostly right there... GDP is an 8 week strain... and I know because I have grown it like twenty times, and if the off time temps are low enough, then they will start to turn purple half way through the 6th week. 9 weeks if you like all the amber trichs, I cut mine at 8 weeks and two days, the two extra days are for the last flush and dry of the medium. Flush in early morning first day, and let dry out until the medium is completely dry when you harvest! His high will be a bit zippy, but he let them go just long enough to give the nuggets that heavy GDP feeling in the stone...

yea 1 oz per palnt naw butsomewhere between 7 and 20 grams depending on strain ... and c02 rarely on a half though you can push itwith co2and good nutes

I am on generation seven with my Purple Kush from SR-71. Is that where you got yours?

The PK is real slender just like mine have always been but the smoke is killer. I just upgraded from a normal 400W HPS to a Agro 1000W HPS.

After testing with the last few crops I decided Im gonna top 12 of them at 6 nodes to get a end result, hopefully, of 12 plants with 6 branches at the PKs top height of 2 to 3 feet. This should give me a total of 72 Colas =)

P.S Prescription limits my count or I would just fill up the tray and grow them straight.

yep thats exacty where i got mine. i originally bought 5 now look what i got. lol!

dont know the total weight yet. they are still drying. when they are done ill post the total weight. but im guessing somewhere around 1/2lb.

So I just weighed the last buds. And all together the final weight of everything was 191 grams. less than expected. There was a total of 38 plants. So it was about 5 grams a plant. I got close to 10 grams off of each of the bigger ones.:bigjoint: but some of the smaller ones only produced about 3.5 grams or less.:wall: I would say pretty good for a second grow. I thought i would do better but oh well. Ive got more clones rooting right now. As soon as they root ill be starting another grow.... The smoke is excellent. I had one friend offer to buy all of it off me.... Dont know what ill do just yet though.

well done man. let me know if you need help making hash! i know acouple ways, BHo, isopropyl, ice-o-lator, water hash and shower curtain hash! get back to me nice grow even though yield was low, how long was the how process?
