Purple haze how do I find it

So back in the day I had purple haze and it gave me this psychedelic euphoric super relaxed happy stone.

8 years ago I went to Colorado and had purple haze again. Same stone. Psychedelic and euphoric.

I tried original sensible seeds purple haze auto and it was nothing like that. I tried white label purple haze and maybe it was the pheno I got, maybe I didn’t let it amber up enough but it didn’t have that euphoric psychedelic feel.

So if I gotta buy the strains that people mixed to make the purple haze I’ll do it and sex them so I can have this the rest of my life.

Anyone have any good leads on a legit purple haze strain? I was going to try ace seeds purple haze x Malawi next. Or try another white label purple haze and see if maybe I grew a junk pheno?

Any help is great. I’m trying to track down that prized strain. Seems I keep coming up empty since people call it purple haze and it’s just a strain of haze that might turn purple if you keep it cold....

you could try amsterdam seeds? not much experience with the brand but it's a name

once you do find the the seed, you could get some fem seeds & some silver to make your own batch of seeds off of that one branch of purp haze

I want to do that but am confused. Maybe you can help. So I’ll take a clone and 12/12 it immediately and start spraying the bud sites when I see hairs start and then here’s my hang up. Do I let it pollenate itself or do I save the pollen and pollenate a different clone that’s also flowering? Of course the other clone would be a clone that is from same mother

if i remember correctly:
use a fem plant to get fem seeds when using the silver
use the silver on a branch for 2 weeks, the leaves will show stress, this is normal
after the pollen sacks have developed, be careful not to let it release into the grow room
collect the pollen carefully
save the extra pollen in the freezer
use pollen on a branch on the same plant on a flowering budsite where you'd like to have feminized seeds

i think the clone's genetics are inferior to the mother plant, am 60% sure

So would it be best to grow from seed, spray a lower flowering branch(larf) let that develop pollen, cut the branch off then paint some of the pollen on another lower spot? Self sexing? Lol. That way I can still smoke the plant because people say don’t smoke the colloidal silver sprayed stuff

Awesome. Sucks that clones are inferior for getting seeds

I guess now all I need to do is find myself a perfect purple haze still. Anyone tried g13 purple haze or ace seeds purple haze x Malawi?

I know it is a myth.

I have had strains for long ass times, cloning and re cloning moms for years. Never saw any sort of degradation. I have a buddy thats been collecting rare ass old school strains for a long time and he has some that he has kept around for 20+ years. A clone is a copy of the parent and it will perform as well as the parent did. 99.9% of everything I grow is clones and it's the only way to really do commercial production.

I found my purple haze seeds on Bonza...haven't tried growing them yet so I can't vouch for germ rates.

I have grown the purple haze from crop kings. I love that stuff. best smooth smoking weed i have grown. powerful also.

Ace 100%, real purple haze just like the old days. Their Oldtimer's Haze has the purple pheno, which is what they use to do their Purple haze crosses, like the magnificent Purple Haze X Malawi. Well worth the time (LONG TIME) effort to pheno hunt the Oldtimer's Haze!

The kind you guys had was it like you were in a dream type feeling? Almost couchlocky but more euphoric. Smoke is like thick perfume taste.

I'm trying another white label purple haze. Hoping it's legit. I know the true purple haze doesn't have purple buds. Because both times I had it the buds weren't purple. I think that must be a descriptor of the taste? Earthy floral thick smoke
