Shallow Water Culture grow, GP3 nutes, no other additives. Currently under a 100W ChiLed, will move to 300Ws of QB96's in a couple of weeks. Currently at Weeks Three. This is the second PG I've grown, first one was topped at the fourth node, this was treated slightly differently, topped at the 5th node, but the first node branches were removed.

Haven't done any work on her yet apart from topping because she is leggy and very bendy with plenty of light getting through so no need to interfere as I normally would if she were more rigid with broader leaves. I anticipate a lot of pruning on this one but as always anything can happen.

She's growing fast and is über bendy, no danger of these branches snapping. I love working with this type of structure, opened her out and I'll allow her to bush up a lot before I decide how to prune. Lot's of light coming through. Nice.purpgorillaD22 - 2.jpegpurpgorillaD22 - 1.jpeg

I can't believe this is two days later pg19 - 2.jpeg still have not needed to do any leaf removal so much space is there and so bendy are the branches. Moved her under a pair of QB96's amped up to 70W each, and as I won't be starting my next hydro for a few weeks I have put my first pot grown pot under the ChiLed puckpg19 - 1.jpeg because it's a bit more blue and I have that putting out 35W. That's an amnesia in the pot at 8 days and at the moment she is doing as well as if she was in hydro, perhaps a tad yellowish. I plan on keeping her in that 5" pot.amnesia pot - 1.jpegamnesia pot - 2.jpeg

Harvested my LemonPie Auto today, this will be my smallest grow yet, estimate 4 zips, last one grown in the winter was 13 zips with a very different bud structure and took an extra three weeks too, so a very interesting result.

Decided to go in for a big defoliation just for old times sake, hard to know where to prune right now so there will probably be a lot more work to do later. Otherwise she is nice and symmetrical at the moment with both upper nodes doing equally well. She is now under about 150W of QB96's.

The plan was to do another defoliation in a week but once I began it was hard to stop, so I've been pretty well taking a handful of leaves off every other day, I did a little bit of pruning but I will give it another week before doing a final pruning. My plant in the 5" pot is struggling, I'm just not a soil guy I guess. However I have tried a bean in an eazyplug mini pyramid, as an alternative, so far she is looking OK. 1-3 - 1.jpeg

Been pretty much constant defoliation every day and I did an extensive branch pruning too yesterday, I'm not expecting much flowering action for at least a couple of weeks, this is a slow to bud strain. Added another 8 inches this week and I think she another 6 inches to grow.

Meanwhile I am enchanted with the eazy pyramid block, so far it's as good as hydro after three weeks and not needing to do anything much at all.
She has continued to grow vigorously after I topped her at day 17.pyramidmini12 - 1.jpegpyramidmini - 5.jpegpyramidmini - 6.jpeg

Beginning to get fluffy now, this one takes a long time for flowers to bulk out but she's on the way.

The mini pyramid test is coming along well.purplepyramid - 1.jpeg

She is beginning to give off some lovely pine aromas and also starting to build some bulk. I have been doing some very severe defoliating continuously and often but I've given her a bit of a break the past few days and she has exploded with more greenery.

Defoliating has become necessary due to my conditions i.e. no exhaust and growing in a walk in wardrobe with a fan and the door open. However this is proving to be a bit tricky because there is very many trichomes forming on most of the outer leaves making it difficult to get in without causing damage, even worse while she looks bendy the stems easy to snap as I found out when this one almost broke clean off, had to tape it up with sellotape and give her a buddy splint, seems to be fine anyway even though the branch was only attached by a few threads!branch - 1.jpeg. I'm now wondering if she is going to throw out stacked calyxes like the last one of these, oldPG - 1.jpeg or do something a bit more normal. I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks. At this state it doesn't look like it.
