Purple Erkle, Blue Dream and Grape Ape outdoor clones. Pics, advice please

hey man ... yea ... the BBox is a work of art. I only use a part of its capacity .... meaning the hydro functionality is wated with me .... but nonetheless .... its a true plug and play device. I expect that I will expand my horizons on the growing front over time .... but for now I will do this as it fits my circumstances. I am planning that by next year, (Apr) I will be able to be doing an outdoor grow ..... but that a to be, not an a be that is the right now ...

stopped by a new cannabis club. wasn't too impressed with the products but they had a shit load of cuts... bubba kush, og kush, cherry bomb... and like 10 otheres. the dude working there said there were all from f1 mothers grown from seed(not too sure what he means by f1). just felt spunky and bought an oG Kush after seeing how well it was rooting. so now theres an og kush addded to the garden:

the dream loves being tied down... best yields ive seen from b.d. have been when it was tied down several times. keep training/tying down until vertical growth slows and the plant has a basket shaped structure... then cut the ties loose. U cant tie down if growing s.o.g. style but from what i see you are not.....

Blue Dream will always try to get tall and must be addressed when height is an issue...
keep tying it down is what i would do.
I'm not a fan of supercroping at all ( i know only 1 person who is ).
Although most people i know growing the Dream DO top their plants in the traditional manor... ( I've heard blue dream responds well to Bush Masters as well to deal with the height issue but u should be careful when using that product.)

wanted to add that my friend who does supercrop does get sum fatty nugs as a result. So, if you did supercrop, dont feel bad about it... feel good. I personally just dont like to do anything to stress the plant that much and it seems to add a lil time to the flowering schedule. different strokes for different folks though

No updates for awhile. ladies are growing good... been giving thme the humboldt grow and they are liking it. the grape ape is as tall as eithere erkle now. Blue dream is loving her supercrop and LST. Tied her down good. shes reallly enjoying the light

Hey ya'll. Both erkles are pre-flowering.... blue dream is still gettin huge, got her tied down all aroudn and its in basket shape pretty dope!!! gonna have to put the pot in the ground tho because shes gettin tall. Grape ape is steady shmobbin and overtaking the erkles. LIttle OG Kush is gonna give a nice little eighth or so.

hey fellow growers, On both the erkles keep finding these water droppletts in random places, it seems to be causing some white mildew substance to form there. been trying to find the droplettes and drying them but they keep appearing!! only watering the soil and never any folliage. what are these droplettes from? dew that has not evaporated?

basicly two leaves are on top of eachother and the water cant dry fast enough! fuck

when two leaves touch the water that normally exits through there leaves gets trapped between the two i have seen this also never had problems though.

hey everyone. Everything has been going good so far and the buds are comming along nicely... except for the Blue Dream. I belieive she has spider mites as thats what my friend told me. I have taken the leaves that looked like ths off and looked at them under the 60x and i dont see anything moving, just white spots? i'm slightly confused... anyway i dont have neem oil but i do have Monterey Garden Insect Spray, will this kill them? it only seems to be on the lowest branch and a little in other areas.

I have a BAD problem with spider mites. So bad that I considered trashing my ladies and starting over. I picked up some Zero Tolerance from my local Med Marijuana club for $20. I drenched the plants from top to bottom, over and under the leaves just the other day. It seems to be working. All of the mites I've come across in the last couple of days have been dead. I posted some good spider mite research on my thread if your up for a good read. Bug issues will probably be an ongoing battle for an outdoor grower like yourself. I started mine outside and then moved them into the cabinet. I'm convinced that I wouldn't have a bug problem had I never had them outside to begin with. Subscribed. I forgot to mention, spider mites usually hang out on the underside of the leaves and lay their eggs in the creases near the leaf's veins. The white spots are where the mite has been sucking the life out of the leaf. They multiply like crazy so get them under control ASAP. As I mentioned previously, as an outdoor grower you will probably battle insects with every crop, the goal is not necesarily to totally eliminate the pests (it would be great but is an unrealistic goal) but to control the pest population, preventing it from getting out of hand. OUT!

I concur because Bro, spidies suck the big one...

I use neem oil or a more expensive version: either Azamax or Azatrol (local hydro store will have em').

Be forewarned, THEY ARE NOT CHEAP!

Neem oil is cheaper but the buds reek after application, the more expensive solution is less 'reekish' on the flowers.

Also, I believe that ladybugs will eat the spider mites so a local nursery may sell them but the disadvantage there is that eventually they will all fly away...

BT (Bacillus Thurogensis, or some such shit) products are also good for a more natural alternative to insecticides (at least for my caterpillar infestation outside) but I am not sure aboot for the mites.

the key is prevention and early detection when i see spider mite pics all i think is how did you not notice them weeks ago when easily dealt with.

dude i'm digging your plants keep the good work up, next time you should prolly trim the bottom branches of the ape, when it gets bushy, let it put the energy to the buds getting direct sunlight. +rep
