Purple Caper Seeds

Hi folks I'm interested in any grow and smoke reports regarding Purple Capers products. I have been their Grape zkittlez as a freebie and like the look of it but wary of any seed bank these days so would really appreciate your opinions. Thanks in advance.

I've known "Frank" for quite a while now and have grown out many many of his crosses.
Here's a shot of the Grand Fire that's just finishing up in the next week.

This pheno is from his fem seed pack. It has kind of a wine-grape taste as opposed to the sweet, grapey kool-aid on the description.
This was the impetus in deciding to shy away from the terp-a-liciuos Humboldt Seed Company back towards real medicine.

I'll be running a cut of his Dark Heart Nursery Fresh Air as well as some other stuff I'm unaware of at the moment soon.

Here's a shot of the Cookie Lady that started it all for me. Still some of the best neck and shoulder medicine I've ever gotten my hands on.

That said, I popped five of his Blackberry Cookies last year and hit five males. But they were all good looking males

Feel free to HMU anytime if you have ???

✌

Thanks Eastsidesmoke!

Just met up with him today and got a few clones and some more seeds. Probably going to be busting open the Ed Rosenthal Super OG's first.

Purple Caper got started with the medical scene here, crossing popular Northern California cuts with Dutch genetics.
He's been at it for a little over 20 years now I think. His main focus is still the medicine and compared to other stuff I've run recently, his gear works. It's easy to grow and I've never had any issues with inter-sex traits.

If you do end up running the Grape Zkittlez, I think you'll be pleased.

Hey thanks man that's nice of you to share your knowledge and thoughts especially as you are clearly very close friends with the breeder so I'm totally respecting your opinions. Thanks Trychrome.

Fresh Air - 56 days into flower

Description For Fresh Air
Fresh Air beat out 100 other strains in a blind taste test, and it’s easy to see how; Purple Caper’s cross of Chocolate Kush x Cantaloupe offers the best of both the sativa and indica worlds. This exotic hybrid has a compact flowering structure and dense nugs and is an extremely versatile grower, given that this pheno was hunted through indoor (hydro and soil), greenhouse, and outdoor trials to test its resilience. With flowering in 9 weeks and superior resistance to mold and insects, Fresh Air will thrive in all grow environments, producing colorful, eye-catching buds. This cut has a very unique menthol nose, laced with fruity notes. It has a buzzing body and cerebral effect, and exceptional flavor all along the way.

Neither of those two but I did run some of his Granddaddy bx a few years back. Bud pics were lost due to hard drive failure.
