Except this is accurate.Don't believe everything you read in the internet. LOL
Dr.Pepper has a little a prune juice in it so maybe...I had a friend try to tell me to use Dr.Pepper once. Never did it.
Don't listen to the trolls. Cold temps will bring out the purple in most strains. Some people just can't accept it, .Except this is accurate.
Lower temperature helps bring out the colors more prominently in the end.
I don't know about blasting the air conditioner, but cooler temps and low humidity is what you want the last few weeks.
Oh I know, I've researched this multiple times in multiple places.Don't listen to the trolls. Cold temps will bring out the purple in most strains. Some people just can't accept it, .
All my plants had purple colors when I was using colder temps, and had my dark cycle at night vs the day. I was also using cold water which I think probably helped make them more purple too. I didn't even think about the cold water at first.Oh I know, I've researched this multiple times in multiple places.
I'm growing Purple Haze, so I needed to know if it was true or not.
You'll end up having more purple,vs less purple with the lower temps at the end.
But then lowering temps for flowering is good.
Lowering temps actually increases the RH. Humidity is relative to temp.I believe dropping temps in late flower is to aid in lower RH. Cooler air doesn't hold as much moisture as warm air. Me personally, I don't drop temps to encourage any secondary pigments. I drop night temps 10-20 degrees depending on what stage of flower I'm in, for the lower RH. Once the lights come back on that RH sky rockets.
If it colors up then, cool I guess. But color has no relevance to me aside from bag appeal. And my shit is always dank no matter what degree of color I may achieve.
Really? Hmm, I stand corrected. You are right. I run my exhaust full force durring dark so thats probably where I'm getting my lower RH. I think it's an ambient 43% at night and durring day I can get up to 58-60.Lowering temps actually increases the RH. Humidity is relative to temp.
How come it's so dry in the winter, even with all that snow on the ground. I guess i just assumed low temp low rhLowering temps actually increases the RH. Humidity is relative to temp.
Like I said before. You have it all figured out.Except this is accurate.

Any pictures of your purple plants in colder temperatures? I always love seeing beautiful plants. All my plants had purple colors when I was using colder temps, and had my dark cycle at night vs the day. I was also using cold water which I think probably helped make them more purple too. I didn't even think about the cold water at first.
The main thing that's happening is the cold makes P harder for the plant to access, therefore it's kinda like mild P deficiency.
It makes them prettier, but it's not gonna make the weed stronger or anything.
I don't know how to explain it really well, but I'll try. You're right that cold air holds less moisture, and warmer air holds more. But if the RH is 50 at 80 degrees, and you lower the temp the lower temp air can't hold the same amount of water, so instead of being locked into the air molecules themselves it's released out in the open air.How come it's so dry in the winter, even with all that snow on the ground. I guess i just assumed low temp low rh
No I don't.. but other people do have some things figured out and they have come before me and I pay attention to that knowledge.Like I said before. You have it all figured out.

If you want to grow a purple plant use a purple strain. Low temperatures can cause a plant to purple but it's not normal if it wouldn't otherwise. No I don't.. but other people do have some things figured out and they have come before me and I pay attention to that knowledge.
Nobody has anything "all" figured out.
