without a proper lens, megapixels is a big factor when zooming in/cropping photosmega pixels are like strains. sounds good but they are meaningless. you can produce plenty of proper bud shots with 3 MP. its about the quality of the glass you are using.. all my shots have ben with my iphone. 5mp sensor..
ill post a pic from my $2000 nikon d700 with average glass and a pic with my iphone, and you tell me which is which.. of course my d700 is only 12.1 MP so maybe thats why they are lacking
