I'm a big fan of "Don't fix it if it ain't broke!", know what I mean? You may need some cal/mag or something like it at some point in the near future. Calcium and magnesium deficiencies are extremely common in cannabis and your water has neither of those. It depends on your soil and the nutes you are using also.:weed:

Your plants look fine. It is obvious all they need is till available in the soil. I would start feeding every other watering about a week before you flower. The plants are really going to eat up nutrients at that point.

Probably. Start giving it half strength nutes and see how it does. Up it to full strength slowly until you reach full strength. The brown spots could be calcium deficiency. Not a big deal but you should have some cal-mag on hand if using distilled water.:joint:

Yeah man they are gonna want nutrients at some point so you should consider picking some up. it will be worth it in the long run.

Does the Fox Farm liquid nutes and or the solubles take care of calcium and magnesium?

Grow Big has no calcium. Both it and Tiger Bloom have mag though. Tiger Bloom doesn't show Calcium in the guaranteed analysis but the major source of N is from Calcium Nitrate so there must be at least a little bit. The solubles might have some but not enough in most cases. The soil should have some calcium in it but it is often in a form that absorbs too slowly for cannabis to thrive without some other form of supplementation. It depends on a lot of things though. Strain, type and purity of water, nutrients, soil type, etc.:weed:

If you have good soil it is definitely possible to use no nutes. You may not get a huge yield or super robust growth but it can work. You can use the same lights but you want lights that are richer in the red spectrum for flowering.

hey man.. always remember.. its called "weed".. its called that for a reason.. it grows in all types of conditions.. it grows in the wild with out any ph testers or fox farms.. what ever you try will work.. your only affecting the yeild and probably the potency by not feeding it and giving it proper light..
