Pure Power Plant (Nirvana)

Strain: Pure Power Plant from Nirvana Seeds
Growth: Due to certain issues I only watered this plant once a week. Everytime I watered it it grew at least one inch over night maybe more sometimes. (during veg). During flower it only stretched a few inches during the first few weeks. Then stopped growing once the buds started filling out.
Nutes: Veg- Fox Farm Flower-Fox Farm
Yield: Off three plants using a 5 bulb t5 and 6 cfls we got a little more than 2 zips after being dried and cured. bone dry weight of the buds (talking not a drip of water left in these things) is about 33 g's.
Bag Appeal: I think very unique. There were TONS of hairs leaving the bud very brown/orange with the actual foliage a nice almost aqua green. the buds themselves are actually pretty dense.
Smell: when growing the smell was REAL strong. Typlical "marijuana" smell i think. Dried buds are a nice sweet fruity smell.
Taste: Again, due to certain issues, i didnt flush it. taste is like unflushed bud.
The High: I'm in love with this strain. The high is very smooth. A nice gentle come up that really creeps up on you. Which I really really like. And you can still function too. A good daytime smoke for sure. I smoked this before sleep and it was a tad bit difficult to fall asleep. the come down is also very easy. It doesnt leave you tired, feeling like mush, or with any kind of sluggishness.
Comments: If you can control the smell i highly recommend this.

Not a bad yeild under cfls & T5s. How long did you veg and flower for?

vegged about 6 weeks and flowered 8 or 9. i kinda lost track. i wanted to go another week. i think i woulda yielded a little more but i had to chop chop due to some circumstances.

i'm still working my odor control, these may have to wait a bit yet

i reccomend it. They dont start stinking til week 6 or 7 in flower. but when they do its pretty potent.

i 'm in week 4 of flower using an oxypot and my ppp is hardly smelling at all (inside under 250 watt hps) This is why i grew this variety because it is recommended as not smelling much while in flower

it started smelling real bad (good?) at week 7 or 8. i forget which one exactly. smelled up the room and hallway. which was one of the reasons we chopped when we did. i would of ideally wanted it to go another week maybe 2.

i did finish my PPP grow about a month ago
1 female from 1 standard seed, got lucky
this was the lowest odor strain i've ever grown or smelled, hands down
did acquire some stronger smell during drying/curing
but while growing, it was effectively invisible to the nose

seed boutique, found 1 other grower on another site that seemed to have the same pheno, may not be the most common, had a aromatic mint like smell, pretty weird actually

yeah that doesnt sound like mine at all. mine was like body odor, skunk, and just a generic marijuana smell. it punched you in the face as soon as you opened the door.

I just harvested 2 PPP last month.

Mine had a very unique sweet not overpowering smell and the flowers were purple.

Tastes like it smells, and has a very up high.

I got mine from Nirvana.

i saw 1 grow log with a purple pheno, not too common from what i could see, looked real nice
mine had a sweet part to the smell

i hoped and prayed for the purple pheno. but i was not so lucky...

the high was the same actually. its the perfect day time smoke imo.

Interesting stuff. I have a PPP plant which is just 2.5 weeks from seed, all set to be put in an oxy pot IWS system. Can you guys tell me roughly how high your finished plants were? I have just 120cm of space in my tent, and then the LED needs to be hung etc., so I'm a little worried this will struggle to fit, especially as the pot itself is around 30cm tall.

my 1 example was very compact, though i did do an LST to it
it didn't take to LST in the classic way, shape was odd, but it grew fine - just an odd shape
you should be good, but then it depends on the pheno you get, i got an indica pheno, which seems to be the somewhat more common pheno

I grew this plant a few years ago. It was fragile for the first week or two and then got much more hardy. I remember it having a very strong smell during flower, practically smelled up the house but I had inadequate odor control mechanisms at the time. Great high, with an energetic feeling. Potent stuff.
