59"l- 24"w- 93"h closet grow w/ sliding doors

what type of hps sould i use 150, or 250

i found a cheap kit on the internet that i would have to build(250w) for 51 bucks plus i would have to get the bulb, hangers, reflcter and prob the case around it depending on what i want to do. does anyone know anything fuller kitted then this for around the same price, trying not to break 100 on it

my biggest issue is heat, im currentlyusing the sun and 6 cfls 2 6500 and 4 2700

well im growing in a tote as of now and halfway threw flower with another female just strating her preflowers so i want to upgrade so i figured more room as in a closet and i dont know how hot in would get in there with the demensions. i plan on a fan inside and a computer fan intake and outtake

well with and HPS it WILL be hard to close the doors without them getting warm, i use a 400 watt in a closet, but i open the closet every morning. its kinda nice seeing the progress every day.

a 150 isnt that hot, but it DOES get warm in an enclosed area. ive always said its easier to cool 1 HPS bulb than 6-7 CFLS tho.

Do yourself a favor and save up for the big boy. I get mine from Discount Hydroponics for 350 delivered to my door. 600 hps, quality reflector and bulb.

Also the new lumetek electronic ballasts have a switch so you can use 360 watts 600 and super lumes which it puts out 10% more than a regular 600. There are about 4 settings on it, I don't remember cause I only use the highest one. But take it from me you spend the 350, thats with shipping and you won't ever have to upgrade unless you want more lights. I have bought countless ballast kits over the years of all sizes. The 600 is far superior.

Of course with a light this size you'll need an inline fan. What ever suites your needs best go with. Just passing on m own expierence.

I have used all of the above. The 600 is my favorite. At the moment I'm running 2. If you have some skill 1lb per 600 is very achievable.

two 600's and an ac then your golden oh and co2 but your space is too small. get a 4" fan up top to pull the hot air out and exhaust out to next room or window and just a regular 8" fan inside blowing and that should work for heat problems and remember 75-79 is perfect for temps

I agree with above poster regarding the 600 and find a way to deal with the heat, the 1000 is overkill and the 600 is way more efficient.

call and ask I got 600 ballast, molex, reflector and bulb for less than 200

the 1000 is just as cheap and I ran back and got one as I thought it was dumb to not get 1000 when it was same price, fuck that I know better now and two 600 is better anyway than one 1000 for better coverage.

site is good to go and my main spot for lights, cheap 30 dollar plantmaxx bulbs but also high dollar sunmasters and others as well both ends. Start off with the 150 for 66 because you can use it down the road for clones in veg.
