So I pulled out the giant male that everyone identified and want to keep if for possible seeds. Planted it in the back yard in (good) soil. Will it survive?

yes but never touch it, and never leave any direct airflow from outside to your grow room, or it could still pollinate.

it's far away from the house and I don't think its going to make it in the ground. I had to do it quick while the wife was at taget. Checked it today and it was totally limp. I was hoping to get seeds from it but the transition from bubleponic to soil might just kill it ... anyway its the best course I have to take!

It could just be in shock from being transplanted into a whole new medium. From what I have seen, roots that have grown in a DWC environment tend to not be able to adapt to it with out alot of TLC. Even then the chances may not be very good.

yeah, it's looking pretty sad but who knows ... it might come back ...either way no loss
my other three plants are very happy now they are much closer to the lights. Just received 36 new seeds and I can tell which are females and cant wait to start them off. I've learned a lot since January and the next batch should be easier. I feel like I''m not a newbee any more. Just hope its a cool summer so my plants will be happy.

Next question ... when you garage is 90+ degrees, how will you plants fair? Bubbleponics ....

i'm really curious how you know which seeds are female!!

if you have a really hot garage (90+ Degrees) your plants will suffer!! i did a garage grow where temps would get to the mid 90's every day even with fans and a portable air conditioner. plants didn't yield much at all and it was almost impossible keeping the ph in range.

Plants are finally starting to bud. Can't help you with the high heat prob since I haven't yet had to deal with it. I'm hoping I hope to get one more crop in before the high temps in my garage. Seeds on order to arrive any day: Lowryder2 check it out ... spent about $80 for five seeds.
