Hey guys this is an area im looking for some advice on i have a durban poison and shes in her 3rd week of flowering right before i put her in flowering i super cropped all the bottom branches long enough to be able to get my plant a bit bushier to produce more buds and i cut off all the fan leaves obstructing the light from getting to the areas where the buds would be. since then she has filled right out. now the plant is a little too bushy how much is too much when it comes to pruning in the flowering period and is removing the fan leaves that obstruct the light for the big buds goodf to do on a semi regular basis or should i just leaves her be......plus is it ok to super crop more my 3rd week in to flowering advice, tips, and information that could be shared on this would be greatly appreciated

I like to prune the largest fan leaves obstructing light make the most impact per cut. Only a few here and there, as you can always cut more. This not only helps with getting light to the lower, inner branches, it also helps with air circulation throughout the plant. I'll do prune during the first 3/4 of flowering regularly (visit with the shears once or twice a week).

depends on how large your plant is. When I'm taking off fan leaves I'm paying attention to not just the overall number I remove but how many I take from an individual stalk. Removed 9 this morning. First time I pruned more than 1 or 2 at a time now at 2 weeks 12/12 standing close to 30"

my plant is like 2 ft 3 in but its a big bushi usually just take off any leaves that dont look healthy and the ones blocking the buds when pruning the ones around the buds should i prune it right at the bottom of the leafs stem of leave a bit of stem coming off the branch

as tight to the stalk as you can without damaging anything else. You seem to have a system for pruning you're using already, and if it's been working for you so far then keep it up! If you want to try some things out, just slightly modify your current system or experiment on one plant or even one branch for different ways of doing things. My last grow I had 2 northern lights from seed, grew them in identical soil and nutes, but used completely different techniques when growing, learned so many different things. This blue widow I'm really just letting do it's thing. This pruning today was the first major thing I've really done since I topped
