Pruning help

Is it a good idea to prune my larger fan leaves off because they are all blocking the light from the side branches underneath, and they are all stretching underneath to try and reach for the light?? If so is there a specific way to cut the leaves as to not stress the plant any more than i have to or what not??

its not stretching its growing and my best advice is you never ever never never ever never take off fan leaves if she dosent need them a gentle tug should take them right off the branch or itll drop on its own

i know the plant isnt stretching, the sidebranches that are growing underneath are streathing. Kinda like an lst all the side branches are trying to grow upwards but all the leaves are blocking them, hence why u cant see them
