You won't stress it. I remove leaf whenever I want to. I've never had any problems. To me it encouraging growth from down below..win win There is rarely a day I don't remove a few leaves. Leaves are important so common sense removal is needed...not the Charlie Brown Xmas tree method.
I honestly don't think manipulating a plant causes bad stress. Be it leaf removal or bending to damage the plant always bounces back stronger.
I did this to a Critical Kush at 3wks into flower. Crushed every secondary branch outward and left the main intact. That's some heavy stress in flower. She turned out fat n sexy..lol
week one I did a heavy prune on half the tent for shits and giggles other half I didn’t touch till yesterday pruned all big fan leafs View attachment 5427989
all 6 plants are runtz punch from herbie seed bank. Plants that I pruned first week look like buds are a lot bigger but only time will tell lol. I kinda regret not pruning them at the same time. No i don’t have a journal lol.

Get you a notepad calendar from staples for Journaling. Same here, I staggered mine and wish I would have done them both same week. Good stuff man, they look great!
Nice job cleaning them up. I like how you've got them thinned out well. I really need to learn this myself. I screen plants every grow and struggle with thinning plants. My screens are usually a mass blanket of buds with mini towers poking through the blanket. Like this...
Ya see how packed in there they are? Yeah, looks cool but I'm thinking they may benefit with more spacing between buds. Something to work on in the future I guess.
From below these buds are so packed in you can't even see light from below. I try to clean it out a little for airflow but it's damn near impossible at this point.
