basically peepz im in the final week of flowering and i havent really taken any leaves off my two little babies through the whole process apart from one or two that were dying off! anyway they look healthy, the top part of the plants are great even the top buds on the branches look good! but the rest of the littler buds running down the branches arent filling out like i thought they should do during the last week before harvest!
so my question is.... Would it be benificial to take most of the leaves off that are blocking light to the lower buds? even if i did, would a weeks worth of good light to the lower buds make any difference?
just so u know i wouldnt completely de-leaf them! im not silly!lol. but my theory was that the smaller leaves left on the plants would have sufficient food to sustain them for a week or so?
also with taking a fair few leaves off would this be a bit to much stress for them during this very late stage???

thanks for replies

The majority of your fan leaves should have yellowed and fallen off. If that haven't then it likely means you have too much nitrogen, which will impact the taste and quality of the smoke as well as prevent your plant from flowering to its full benefit.

If you are using any nutes stop using them immediately. It is okay to continue using molasses. When you go to harvest the plant remove all of the mature, filled out buds. Leave the rest of the plant alive for an additional week or so and they should fill in a bit for you.

The only real problem with cutting off all the leaves so that the lower buds get light is that a marijuana plant needs all of their leaves to produce chlorophyll and food. On top of that pruning fan leaves that are still green and not dead puts stress on the plant. If i were you then you could always try and bend the plant so that light can focus on other buds that were blocked out by light.
