Propetual Harvest(brainstorm with me)

Yeah

Alright, so I've read a few threads over my time here at RIU about cycling plants through a grow to get a propetual harvest. I just got a job where I should be able to get a house and start a grow in the next few months. So brainstorm with me on how YOU would do a propetual harvest.

Here's my rough draft.

I'm legal in california and the limits of the county are 6 mature(budding) plants and 12 immature(veg) plants. I may not completely stay to legal limits, but I'm going to make plans based on them.

So my idea is to start with 3 clones and let them veg for about 4 weeks(depending on flower time. The veg cycle should be HALF) of what the flowering time is. After 4 weeks throw those clones into flower and start 3 more veggin.

After another 4 weeks cycle them through again so that I have 6 flowering and 3 new clones in veg. After another 4 weeks I should be able to harvest 3 plants and start 3 more continuing the cycle.

The plan is to have the clones and/or mother under a t5 lighting system and the flowering plants in a tent with a 1000w hps. No corners will be cut this time around, full ventilation, carbon scrubber, everything.

Further along I may try experimenting with breeding like my mentor FDD and his famous hijack and roadtrip strains. lol

So how does that sound? give me tips, comments, ideas, any kind of constructive criticism:peace:

I grow perpetual.....if space is an issue in your vegging area you dont need to keep Mother plants. Just take cuttings 2 weeks before you throw them into flowering. If I can help/answer any questions Id be happy to, just ask and good luck w/ your grow.

Really I'd like to know what kind of lighting you're using and how successful it has been. How many ounces do you average per plant?

Space shouldn't be an issue as I'm looking to get a 2 bedroom house with a garage and devote either the whole garage or one bedroom to the grow.

UPDATE: Just got the call back, the job is FOR SURE! Faked the pee test with quickfix and I'm looking at about $12/hr starting. I'm excited to see how the next couple months go.
