hey, being paranoid doesn't mean that someone isn't trying to fuck with you....

but it was weird, like i had already done that search and forgot about it....never had it auto fill that quickly and correctly before....the make, model, and year of the truck, touch up paint, the right area......it does make me wonder, sometimes....i'm tempted to keep my headset unplugged when i'm not using it, and putting the fucking phone in a drawer when i'm not on it....but, no one is paying any attention to me...right?.....right¿

Anything you ever type into Google is kept. Also, if you use Google Chrome, anything you ever type in it is kept.

Algorithms do the rest.

Google bots also crawl the web and record that data as well, so if you ever told someone your truck was red, they know. If you ordered or even searched for parts for it, they know.

People live under the false illusion that they are anonymous online as long as they don't use their real name.

You're not.

The moment you get online they know the device you're on, where you are, everything.

Ironically Roger, I drive a 94 Aerostar van with the infamous EPA chipping paint of that year. I find it a coincidence that I was planning on chipping away what I can and was planning on sealing up the roof of my van with Thompson's WS today. It must be "National Intuitive Car Roof Repair Day".

yeah, i know. i use firefox. don't know if it's a lot better, but i just don't like chrome, it's analytical uses aside.
i went through both windows and google and turned off as many data gathering options a i was able. that's probably completely useless, but at least it makes me feel like a did something to protect my privacy. honestly, it was more me not wanting to do their job for them. if you want to know about me, you're going to at least have to come collect the fucking info, i'm not sending it to you, myself.
