Hello, Roll It Up Community!!
I would like to say I am pleased to join this forum, and I wish you all great yields.

Now, A little Background about myself:

Over the past 15 years, I have tried some different grow designs, and systems.
My first grow was using fluorescent tube lights in some cheap potting soil.
Needless to say, the bagseed I planted started growing nicely, but ended up failing in the end.

I began to do some research, and read some books.
Also, I started to do some vegetable gardening, and I worked with some perennials, and some annual flowers around my
yard, as well. I was mostly interested in plants that give me things I can consume,
I particularly liked, Raspberry bushes, grape vines, and of course my vegetable garden.

As my gardening skills started to become more viable, I decided to try my hand at marijuana again.
This time, I got a HPS light, and some better soil, that I made from recipes found in the resources I have read.
I had better success with this system, and was very happy to actually be able to finish my plants.

Being an eager noob pot farmer, I believe I pushed my plants too fast, flipping lights to 12/12 too fast, harvesting too
soon, and even drying the buds too fast. I also did not think to clone a mother, so I ended up ordering some seed online.

When I grew the better strains, I had more patience, and the genetics in the ordered beans were a significant difference to the genetics I used to grow from my bags of smoke. The more I read about this amazing hobby, the more I
wanted to try. I got more equipment, separated my veg and bloom rooms, kept a mother for
cloning, started training techniques, began to get better harvests at the proper time, and learned to cure the buds properly.

I started to become more involved with other life issues, such as career, and family, that started to distract me from my
hobby, so I looked into hydroponics. I thought If I could set up a system with timers, I would not have to mix soil, water by
hand, and keep a close eye on the plants like I did with soil. I was wrong. I found that hydroponics was more costly and just
as much work. I just gave up for a while, I didn't have the time.

After a Break from growing, I moved and when I settled into a new place I began to grow MJ again. This time, my aim
was to grow quality marijuana for as least hassle as I could. The biggest pain in the ass was buying, measuring, and mixing
different ingredients into a top quality soil. This is a dirty, and strenuous task that I did not have the space for, anyway. I
have heard a lot of great results from growers using Fox Farms Ocean Forest, so I began to use that. My first grow with it,
I noticed it was quite heavy, and also it was so rich to cause some nute burns. I decided to cut it with some peat based soil
less mix. This has resulted in a much easier medium to grow in, as it is only 2 things to mix, and it provides everything my
plants need from start to finish. If I do discover my plants showing some sort of deficiency, I will add some nutes to my
water.

I was happy with my results for some time, and was enjoying the great smoke that my girls were producing.
Unfortunately, I ran into a rough spot in my life, and I sold my HIDs, and other equipment, before moving again.

Now I am settled in a new location, and I am ready to start growing again.
I intend to use LED lighting this time, and cross my fingers to hope they work.
This is the first time I have joined a forum of this type, and I look forward to contributing to the community.
I selected RIU because this is the site that popped up most often when I would google for information.

Long story short, I am no expert, nor do I claim to be.
However, I do have some experience, and I am always willing to learn some new information from the vast sea of
cultivators out there. Plus I may be able to help some new growers along the way.

I invite anyone to ask me any specific questions, make productive comments, post suggestions,
leave constructive criticism, or leave me any feedback.

TY,
