Hey guys, I picked up a couple cream cookies auto by fast buds and was wondering if I use the colloidal silver method and pollinate the cream cookies with a critical orange punch fem, will the seeds come out auto, fem or a mix? If anyone has info on this and can direct me to some it would be greatly appreciated.

The autoflowering gene is recessive from my understanding so you will not get any autoflowering plants unless the critical orange had an autoflowering parent as well. The seeds will be all female though.

I was doing some research and it seems like a time consuming process growing through the generations to achieve the end goal. Think I’ll just pull some pure cream cookies auto seeds so I can keep them in the back pocket for future grows and maybe a cross along the way. Cheers for the reply

Yes it is time consuming. Any time you breed a photo with an auto you need to backcross the offspring to another auto, then begin stabilizing with the 25% of those offspring that carry the autoflowering trait. Really gives you respect for the auto breeders who produce stable strains.

Why not just do it with 2 autos? Have some fun and get some female auto seeds.
