Producing Feminised Seeds Using Colloidal Silver

Does it have to be demineralized water or can it just be purified like aquafina or fuiji? An does it have to be a glass or can it be in a plastic cup?
I use NAYA bottled water to do mine. Yes it is alot dirtier, so I just filter it with coffee filter #4 and then bottle it. Never checked ppm.

I don't know what NAYA is, but if it has metals and minerals in it I would imagine you get a runaway reaction pretty quickly.

not to sure what runaway reaction is exactly, but it does work. BTW, i'm not even using pure .999 silver either, just have to filter the solution good. Still get beautifull seeds that work great.

I'm interested to see what happens when you use a regular plant rather than a femmed one in the first place, not really a fair experiment until then.
i do not have a camera yet, buying a usb microscope to help and then i can start journals, i am currently doing the cs method mentioned on this thread with 2 strains, bubblelicious and thc bomb, both regular seeds, apparently, well that is what i paid for, lol, i tried the hermy way first, long story but after everything i only ended up with 2 of each plant and both were female, i stressed the hell out of 1 of each strain, nothing happened, they stayed firm on female, so i looked up alternatives, i cloned the 2 i tried to stress as i figured they had to be good genes, and 3 clones from each, currently CS'ing a branch on one of each, nothing yet, but that is a good sign seeing as the rest of the plants are sprouting pistules everywhere else and getting strong in smell, only been in 12/12 for just over a week so still time yet to see if they turn, but so far it looks like each branch has a few nannas starting, just too small for the naked eye to be 100% sure yet

I guess CS'ing a bud or a branch can work, but imo you are much better off doing a whole (small) plant. I am not convinced that the phenomenon is that local, rather than a systemic response. In any case, it just seems easier to me than trying to localize it. And you can quarantine your successful plant. Just my 2 cents. gl

i do agree doing the whole plant, but the reason i am doing just a branch on each is lack of room and need for decent smoke that i do not have to buy, lol, once things are going properly i will be doing whole small plants, i only need to get a dozen or so seeds at a time, will be making a small room just for breeding as soon as funds become available

just an edit, thought i would add this little bit, i am using LED lights, i know wrong forum, but using them means i can make the room pretty cheap as over heating is not a problem, as soon as i can take pics i will start my own journal showing my setup, i know there is a lot of negative with LED, and i am still in the testing faze, but so far i have decent results, but i also am not using the "grow" LED lights, i am using spotlights, and they throw off over 5,000 lms each

I have one gem that was gifted to in seed form.....it looks much better than the original bud it came from....its 37 days into flower....is there any hope of reversing her.....I hit her with a borrowed batch of Doc's OG male pollen a week ago but not seeing anything yet. I would like to try and save the genetics because I really believe there's somthing special about her. Any ideas?

I wouldn't try to do it at this point. Let it finish, chop, and leave a good branch or two. Then, put it back into veg (MH or flouro light, 18hrs). It can take a long time, but it can work. The plant can be revegged. I wouldn't try to grow such a plant out, but you might be able to reverse it and get some pollen. Good luck.

Actually a better idea would be, if you can get it to reveg, is take a clone from it when it starts growing again. Then reverse that.

If by "self seeding" you mean stressing it to cause a herm, I would not do that either. In my non-expert opinion, seeds produced that way could be more likely to herm themselves.

Let it finish and harvest. Leave some good greenery on a couple branches. Maybe repot, since it's probably root bound by then. All you need to do is get it to start growing again after harvest and be able to get a good cut or two.

Alright I will try that then. I will say I have found a few random seeds before in some Pineapple Chunk( 8 seeds out of 14 ounces) planted them and they where pretty damn close to the original, I wouldn't say exact but close enough. They didn't display any unwanted traits.....but I have no clue on how they got there in the first place so I wouldn't know how to recreate the process without extreme intervention.
