The trouble is with thrips is that they can blow in on the air or even hitch a ride with you just like any other pest that can do it.
Something which may be a viable option too is that it could be carpet beatles taking a bite of your plants.
I had an issue with some of these little fuckers a few months back.
I kept finding them in my grow room and everywhere where they were found i saw a chunk missing from a leaf.
My honest opinion tho bro is get some of these
