Plant matter breaks up very easily with dry ice hash. You have to be very gentle. I work my way across the surface and scrape it up withing 5-10 min the plant is starting to come threw I finish one run with it a little green for eatables. So us small amounts you have less waste. Stay close to the surface, it blows around if not, and shake gently.

i should've mentioned i am an experienced keif maker this is the third set of bags i've bought, i first used a 220 virtual sun bag and got PRIMO blonde keif no green at all, then that bag broke and i used the 190 till I could afford this one. and the 190 was by far better than this bag... i dunno... it seems almost automatically green after doing it for 30 seconds

Thats a little more info. If you getting green the leaf/bud material has started breaking down. I find with dry ice once the material as started breaking down it doesn't take long for green to come through know matter what size bag I'm using. I don't think getting green right away would be the bag. For some reason the leaf material started breaking up faster.
I use to use larger chucks up to maybe 2-3" diameter and let the weed (already frozen) set in the dry ice for 10 minutes or so to cool even more. I found that by crushing the Dry Ice small almost dusty and shaking immediate that I increase yield before material break down. I've found it more productive do smaller batches. Like 2 maybe 3oz in a 5 gallon bag. More than that and the kief can shake through the material before it starts breaking down.
But I'm just one guy making a little hash for himself.
I really don't find any "experts" out there using dry ice who have perfected the system as with bubble. So I there are few to find solution from.
If I had a machine to make bubble I would, but I can't stir and stir and stir to get quality water hash so. I've Dry Ice found it to be my best option.
