ok so this is my first grow ever. i have been doing a lot of reading about all this so i know what i am kind of doing. but anyways i have 3 plants and 2 of them are starting to yellow up a little bit on the edges. they are about 2 weeks old and they r not big at all(very dissapointing). i am using 6 26 watt daylight cfls (2 on each plant) and one is doing fine very green looking. but the other two are kind of yellowing on the edges and the one the far left (1st pic)has spots on the smaller leaves? i am using 18/6 cycle and watering once a day i am using a box fan and leave it on 24/7 for the plants. i have a ph meter and it reads right at seven everytime i put it in the soil. i dont know what my moisture level is since i have no meter for that. i was using 30-10-10 mg fert but i just bought some 24-8-26 mg fert today. last time i fert was like days ago and maybe done it once before but thats it. but mainly i want to know y my plants r so small for being 2 weeks old. they dont look like r dying, but just some discoloration and thats about it. oh and another thing i bought mg organic choice. . is that a good potting soil?? and if it is should i transplant the 3 plants now since they are already 2 weeks old? or just wait till they get bigger. thanks!

2 weeks old is to soon for ferts. I would wait at least till they were 3 weeks old. Next the sopil meters suck get a ph kit so you cna test the water you give them. best way to control ph in soil.

Watering daily is likley to much and will lead to even more isues. Water when the cups feel light. every 2-3 days or more.

They look fine right now. Chill on the nutes and back off the daily waterings. In a week start some week nutes, 1/4th strength, and only once a week or every other watering. My clones are in 16oz cups and once rooted get watered every 3-4 days to put it into perspective. Daily watering is drowning those roots which will also lead to issues.

Good Luck

It was hard to tell from the pix, but those peat cups look a little small and not very full of soil. When did you plan to get them into larger containers? Also, never heard of Organic Choice, however have had great success with Super Soil & it's available at Walmart.

No thye should not be watered every day. Its not that thye feel like they need to be watered you feel they need to be watered and its a classic noob mistake.

Water them every 2-3 days. Maybe even longer. All your doing is drowning the plant. They are not a wet plant. They like dry roots. You water them and soak the soil. By day 3 they are completely dry and ready for another watering.

Biggest issues new people growing have is doing to much. Growing is a passive activity. The plant does most of it. They should not need watering everyday. If that is the case your not watering them enough. Overwatering is not a to much watering at one time issues. Its a watering too often issue. And daily is way to ofetn imho.

I am not sure if your soil is good or not. Some one who uses might be able to help but I am sure its something you can grow with. Just slow back on the nutes and the watering and you should be fine.
