Problems Sprouting ?!

I can't get my seeds to sprout and have had numerous problems.. they're bagseeds btw. I'm using miracle grow potting soil, 1 42watt CFl (previously 2 but it was too hot) and i have 2 seeds in jiffy pots. I have an exhaust fan as well. the temperature stays around 75-90 (the weather has been far from constant here). I had 1 sprout but i could tell in was dead soon after.. also, in the past, ive had mushrooms start growing in the pot with the seeds that i had planted... WTF? I think the main problem (and cause of mushrooms) is my watering.. I water once a day because the soil seems to be dried out each day. Is this too much or too little? I think mushrooms only grow in high humidity spots so maybe too much water? I dont know. I need help badly. I only have 2 seeds in right now and 1 waiting to be planted and ive gone through many.. I dont want to waste anymore. thanks

get anuva light and put em 3 inches away, the seeds like warmth. did u germinate them first or did u put them in staight away?

i raise plants to about 2 inches away from the light and i germinated them first but only till the seeds crack

i had alot of luck when i germinated them untill 1/4 + was revealed from the shell. and every single one sprouted in MG potting soil after 24 hours. 3cfl 100watt equivalent

should sprout in about 3-5 days then if u only waited till it cracked. keep it moist aswell

stay away from miracle grow, i have heard that it is not a good medium for cannabis. I am also new and i choose to germinate till the seed falls off and it has proven to be very effective. I am also going strictly organic and use organic potting soil with manuer mixed in as well, she couldn't be any healthier.
