problems germinating

whats going on with White Berry seed,, been like that for the last 2 days, ,, looks like the seed doesn't want to open up,, I just been keeping the Root Starter most

Germinate in a paper towel inside a close ziplock bag sealed, i place mine on my cable box or ps4 for 24-48 hours then once the tap toot is 1/2"-3/4". i plant it in a small pot and just use a spray bottle to water for the forst 2 weeks and dont keep in a dome

Make sure the paper towel is wet. Hahaha. Looks like this.lol. should see some moisture build up on the zip

Why not just put the seeds in soil, add a little water, keep it moist, and wait for the seeds to pop? If they'll pop in a damp paper towel they'll pop in damp soil. No need for all these other steps.

You can't wait three days or less for it to pop out of the soil? I grow from seed and have 99.99999% success rate just popping in soil. Why do you need to see that the seed has popped before putting it in the soil? If it pops it pops. Doesn't matter if you watch it or not. The less you handle things the better.

Paper towels are a waste of time. There are some seeds in the plant world where special methods are required for successful germination at a decent rate. Cannabis isn't one of them. Hell a seed I missed fell on the ground from a plant I revegged after I harvested the seeds I made. I even stepped on it and it still grew. Looks like crap but two weeks from now it will be growing just fine. It's not a complicated process. Put in whatever grow medium you're growing in and wait. It really is that simple. I can't understand why so many people have so much difficulty growing a plant that is so easy to grow. The only thing I can come up with is they are doing too much, making things more complicated than they need to be, and causing any problems themselves.

Black Gold Soil really works,, I got some Blue Grape Dream ,, coming up also Girl Scout Cookies as well,, here's a pic n also scallions,, always had a problem tryn to germinate,, well no more,,, thanks apprecate U telling me about Black Gold

Lookin good. Keep it simple. Easiest way to fuck up a taproot and kill a good plant.

Looks like you have seeds a poppin. But why did you plant so many in each pot?

they were old n didn't know if they would germinat,, so I the best would b just only 3 or 4 but they r all same flowering time,, plus there is one that's scallions n the old is desert rose seeds ( Catcus ) n it seems that that's the way i'm going to germinate from now on.

I want to thank HotRodHarley n the rest of y'all for helping get the germantion going the right way,, also i'm going to just spray with the bottle from now on. that Black Gold Soil is excellent

So straight to soil with no paper towel, plastic baggy, dome, etc... was successful. Who would have thought that just doing as nature intended would work. You just learned one of the most important lessons for growing cannabis and that's the fact that it doesn't have to be complicated. Just because others want to make it so doesn't mean that you need to follow down that path. Every other aspect of growing cannabis is the same. Some overcomplicate things but those with the best success keep things simple.

I havent seen any company that will guarantee germination by just putting in soil. Everyone germinates differently. Good on ya if it works just by putting it into the soil but i will always paper towel it

If it pops and you kill it after......the company will sell you another seed.........seriously man, try it....it takes a step out and lessens your chance of a dead plant.
