Ok, heres my method which out of around 200 seeds has been 99% successful and is based on nature. Doesnt matter where my seeds come from, I do this with them all. Seeds arrive, into the fridge they go (simulating winter, not the freezer box or freezer, must be fridge) Put the seeds into a cup of some kind, sprinkle a little sand intot he container, cover with clingfilm or foil and swirl around. (this simulates scurrification where the seeds pass through an annimals intestines) No paper towel (the only paper towels I have seen in woods/forests etc have been dropped on lovers lanes and I wouldnt want my seeds to germ in those!!!!) Into moist rockwool or soil, depending what I intend to grow in. Soak cube/soil with ph'd water with a drop of superthrive (only non- natural bit) Cover hole with medium gently, not packing tightly. Place under a Daylight cfl (6500k) Be patient and within 3 days, green should appear, by 6 days all seeds should have sprouted. I have done this with 6 year old, well dried out seeds and it worked. Peace W
