Problem with too tall plants

I have four plants growing in hydro in the 4th week of flowering. Two of them are the height I expected but two are going crazy, still growing into the lights at almost 48 inches. I cannot raise the lights or lower anything and space is tight. The only thing I knew to try was bending them over and tying them so the tops are still under light but not close enough to burn. My fear is they will turn back up to the light and keep growing at what point I don't know what to do. The tops are filling in nicely, I don't want to cut them off, or let them burn. Any thoughts very welcome and +rep!

Slowly keep bending her down, she will come. If they have thick stalks it may take a little bit longer. Also just keep tieing down new growth. And what kind of light? It will be a pain but it will keep her from getting burned....also make sure you have good air flow inbetween the light and the canopy of the ladies

Yes a fan blowing in the space between the light and the plant top. Blow that heat right away bro.
It's not that I had a hard time bending the plant. But already, after five hours, the top is already turning up so in a couple days it might be back in the lights. My concern is how much more it will grow and how much longer the bend and tie method will work. I've never had a plant grow so much this far into flower. I'm hoping it will stop soon - I'd much rather have the energy that is going into plant growth go into bud growth.

I don't know what else you can do besides tie them down, you gotta get the tops under the lights. I'm also curious if anyone has any alternatives, +rep for any. I had it happen once with 2 seeds I wasn't sure what they were. I hope it doesn't happen again but you never know, seeds get mixed up.
