Problem with organic outdoor grow

They actually still need that wet/dry soil cycle even in flower. If the soil always wet you run the risk of root rot and things go downhill super quick from there.

Thanks for the laugh. But don't feel bad. I'll attach it. Do you see it below my post now? Same link as this:

Yup. Got it now lol. Thanks. Yeah I see super simple. If I had done my soil mix right from the get go I’d be better off. I have some compaction going on. It drains but not as fast as I would like. They asked for water today and they all got different amounts. They weren’t really dry but seemed like they wanted some. So have them a couple gals with molasses and the rest ph to 6.5 water. I also got the chance to spray them earlier but I didn’t like it as I don’t feel right making my plants stink like that lol. I want to rinse them off lol.

I have read and heard yes and no. Moist but not wet constant is good flower. But I’m going to let them dry a bit more next time. Leave them till Sunday if not a lot of rin they should be asking by then. They are drinking a lot more then they used to. Thank you for that a good dry might be good before anymore watering

You'll never smell or taste it in a couple of days. When's the last time you had appetizing medicine? LOL.

Experiment. I'm just some guy trying to grow here. Might not be a good idea for you. Find out what you think works. Just look at the basic principles and logic, as well as results before deciding. Just have an educated plan.

Right now my plan is make them look healthy. I just have to fight myself to want to add anything my ocd gets the best of me sometimes. I will finish trying this spray trick and see what happens.
They are not happy today. Not praying like usual. Only 1 is praying 1 is Flatish and 2 are a little droopy. But it’s not a hot day and overcast so maybe they just resting lmao. Fingers crossed they are ok

Droopy is overwatered. Praying is healthy. Entire leaf curling up along the length is thirty.

Well not droopy like a limp noodle
just not as rigid so I guess more of a curl or slight droop. Perfect princess almost always was flat or slight bend down but she is the slowest drinker of the 4 an tends to be more wet for longer then the others. The other 3 usually are praying and we’re untill today. 1 is. Other 2 are just not as happy as yesterday. Only thing changed was a light epsom spray yesterday and that spray today and they got watered today cause they seemed like they wanted it. Maybe they didn’t want it or as much as I gave them. Either way it’s a waiting game now lol. I threw some worm castings and kelp over my mulch to keep the worms and microbes happy and to continue breaking it down but that was it and not enough to even give the plant anything just a sprinkle to keep life happy on top of soil.

Careful of the microbes. Over population is very bad. Weakens the herd. Can cause die off in gross excess. No food for plants. More is definitely not better with plants.

Damn it. I thought if I could not worry about one thing it would be microbes lol. At max I sue what it says I can at 1 teaspoon every week or 2. It’s npk brand myco bloom. I used myco veg in veg and for transplants. By end I wood have used a small pack each. Each pack was 8 oz. still have a little veg and enough bloom to do a few more applications. Hell maybe that’s my problem. Honestly the way it’s gone it’s typical newbie stuff and would have to wait 2 weeks min or more for all this to be settled with no additions. I guess best thing to do here is wait a couple days at a time and track changes and hope things straighten out.

Well I figured after the heavy rain yesterday most of what I sprayed got a good wash off so today another overcast day I decided to do another spray but added a couple things. Used very light dose of epsom, fresh aloe & fish. Micro dose of oyster shell flour and langbenite I mean if they even showed up I’d be surprised and a pinch of folic acid to run along with the kelp. There should be more fulvic with the kelp but in my last tea they got a big boost of humic and folvic acids so did not want much in there just there to brew with the kelp. Instead of just mixing I ran a small 1 1/2 gal bucket and aerated for around 24 hours and then strained it and diluted it another 50% to bring ppms to a light dose, adjusted the ph ever so slightly as to not create a alkaline mix to attract our friend nr PM and gave them a spray. My thoughts were I figure kelp is good even without its values for so many reasons and the others were just trying to lightly balance a mag/cal solution along with the mix with some micros, minerals, etc. All so light that I’m either doing nothing or helping slightly lol.
Anyways good or bad just a couple hours later they look even better then this morning and so happy and praying or laying nicely. Looking a much nicer even green as well. I figured this was my last chance to give them a spray so wanted to give them a little of what I think they want while they await there food to be ready in soil and or adjust the balance. Lol.

my silica came in finally. I stopped using DE shortly ago cause I had used so much I’m sure it has been helping my compaction issue and once preflower hit that was the last few times I used it. I wanted silica before but could not source it. so next water they will get some silica mixed in which will help fight off PM and a few other great benefits and is also a good supplement to help plants when they are not at their best too so that would be nice.
see how it goes

who I believe to be MAC is lookingvery pretty with her shiny sugar leaves and some of her pistils are a slight purplish hue.

Thanks for the update. Glad things are improving. Now try to simplify your style and you should have less problems. Less is more as the saying goes. Peace and best wishes.

yes less is more,,, i always have the urge to top dress more but i will commit to water only now that i have done the final spray. they will get water only mist in the morning and then wait till they are asking me for water. another week of just sun, water, air & dealing with me constantly inspecting lol. whether its in my head or not they seem like they are happier, whether it was the light spray solution or time thank you for your help michi-can and all,,,, if any have any other bits to add please feel free,,,

Hello all,

Well things have gotten better and worse.

Perfect princess is thriving with a bright tip here or there but quite happy and lush green.

The worst one has continued to get light green and continue to get rusty spots on tips and edges and then some yellow and die off. Not sure what’s going on. After the flush I did a light does of top dress and a few light foliar feeds and let dry out and watered well. After some time it was time for flower top dress so I did one. Not a full dose by any means just some Gaia green power bloom, some Guanos, langbeinite, microbes worm castings soil compost etc. The normal kind of flower mixture. Amendments was just over 2 cups and the rest was worm castings and soil etc.

The 3 rd plant seems to be fine except the old burnt marks but thriving and has the biggest crystally buds of them all.

The 4th is doing ok but is catching up to the worst one.

I think some are under fed but i really have no idea. I have been using a lot of organic throughout the grow with some teas but maybe when they exploded in growth My soil wasent ready. Other then that I would go back to nute burn but I don’t know what would be causing it.

At this point all I can do is water and do my final feeding come 5 weeks and hope for the best.
I will take some new pictures in the morning.
Here are a few leaves. These were from other day. These are the good ones. I forgot to take pics of the ones I pulled of that were worse. I will find a few bad ones tomorrow there will be many. These were random shots not showing the issues but what I have till light

The original soil was not really amended either and was a mix of promix organic and other products. I think maybe when all that depleted I got behind and did not catch up on my top feedings ? Who knows. First grow problems lmao

Well here are the 2 Misbehaving ladies. The other 2 are doing well. 1 never had an issue ever and the other has bounced back and had a different issue with different leave problems and believe I corrected it. These 2 are being grumpy. The one was ok but this week not so much.
I’m back to nute burn/imbalance/lockout
Or
Under fed as a whole. I know I have the spread of npk, minerals, acids, silica, microbes, micros but even with my notes I can’t be sure with organic you just never know how much they are eating.

Really need help as at this rate I won’t have any leaves left and don’t think they will make it and I’ve invested too much to let that happen.
Any help is really appreciate

Anyone ? I’m starting to feel like there not going to make it. The colour is draining and spotty, rusty spots and edges, I’m starting to get worried. They look worse every hour now. They should be ready for water tomorrow maybe Monday. Please feel free to share anything that may be of some help. Thank you. If you need anymore info please feel free to ask.
#firstgrowproblems lol
