Problem ordering seeds from herbies?

So I've been trying to order seeds from herbies for 2 days now. They keep declining my transaction...and yes I have money on my cards. I used a visa and a mastercard. The master card was flagged as fraudulent and I got an email from my bank. I did read that they have been cracking down on seed companys. Have herbies front name been exposed? Anyone has ordered from them knows the name and they tell you the name on the website. I wonder if the feds caught up to them

I take it your in the usa ? what you need to do is call your credit card company wile your on the phone order your items they will allow your transaction to go through at the set amount . this is very common when buying items from other place in the world . this is not just you it happens to a lot of people . so you will be on the phone the fraud department . and tell them the issue and they will wait until you order your items and your purchase will say hocas pocus .

As an alternative, you could always use one of the seedbanks right here in the US. Some don't have a huge selection, but the genetics tend to be very good.

Debit doesn't work the same as a major CC because the protections against fraud are not the same. You need to use a major cc; prepaid cc should work too.
Herbies is not a front they are a legitimate business & seed is legal to buy/sell in the uk. The US Feds can't bust a legal business in another country.. all they can do is try to seize your order but even that's nearly impossible

It shows up as "Hocus pocus" on the bill.

Most banks require you to call before ordering overseas.

Not all prepaid cards work either. Just have to read the terms and conditions on each card. Green dot quit lettimg people use them over seas. I'm not sure if they allow it now or not.

But I think maybe it's time to change the name to something. It's been hocus for years. I've call my bank 2 times already and they don't see decline transactions. I also asked them if I'm able to make overseas buys they said yes....now I'm looking for a prepaid card...I'm going to call my bank one last time

One of my chase CC's got flagged and they wouldn't let me process the transaction until I specifically called them to authorize it.This was with visa by the way. My mastercard would have flat out declined it. Funny how they're trying to stop the transactions of seeds around the world. Multi billion dollar corporations sticking their noses where it doesn't belong. Why do they do it? To send a message that they are a good company by blocking seed transactions? Or is it something deeper? Maybe they are paid by drug companies that have probably launched a full on war against cannabis used for medicinal purposes? We'll never truly know mate.

why is it so hard to call the credit card toll free ? and tell them the issue and they will sit on the phone with you and help you place the order .

I would have thought that seeing how Hocus Pocus, the name used on credit card statements, also sells alternative clothing, body piercing accessories etc, which can all be bought quite legally in the UK and worldwide, I don't see why an american law agency would tell american credit card companies to put a stop on their sales. That is just asking for a lawsuit.

Come on man why do everyone think the people asking questions are clueless. I've called my bank almost 10 times. They keep saying there is not restrictions and they don't see the transactions coming thru. I was told by a few of the people I spoke with it that the site or " merchant" is not accepting the charge. They said maybe due to it being a debit card. 3 different cards 4 different seed bank...herbies, midweek song, gorilla, and bonza.....no one is taking my cards. Not even the prepaid Amex.....I was told try visa but I can't find a visa that says its for international buys...

wow that sick. Them streets are way different then over here. I now need to find out if I wait for the prepaid Amex card with my name on it to come in the mail would that work. But now for me time is an issue this was to buy my seeds for my last outdoor grow...I don't mind getting another card as long as I know it will work. So far I can't seem to find one that won't take a few weeks if I have to register it. The card that got cancelled behind this shit was my wife's so now she ain't messing with me at all...I know she has full credit cards but I don't
