I just put some freshly sprouted seeds in the Pro Mix, watered them and put them all under the CFL. The pro mix is in 16 oz cups with drainage holes in the bottom. The mix seems somewhat dry even after liberal amounts of water, but I stopped as to not overdo it?
I also wondered if the light needs to be over them immediately? The light is 6"-7" above the cup tops, so I doubt much heat is reaching the tap roots. I have the light on for 24 hours straight and then I will set an 18/6 cycle from there on.
Just being cautious here, every seed sprouted and we want to keep the momentum going with as few setbacks as possible. Two thumbs up to Attitudes.
