The marijuana always has to be free - no exceptions. P2P nothing of value can be exchanged.

However, what one might also do in order to additionally help patients with their ailments is offer to sell them Blessed Magical Paperclips or Grapefruits for an agreed upon donation amount. For example $45/80/150/280 depending on the holiness of the blessing or the power of the magic.

With that said, you need to be abundantly clear that the transactions are seperate and completely independent of each other. The meds are always free - that is the law.
LOL@"magical paperclips"

Magic Beans anyone ?

patient to patient...I would tell um the plastic baggy cost $40 80 100 whatever...the marijuana inside it is free

Your not selling weed...your selling the plastic bag it comes in...that is what you tell um

Yes I'm donating the marijuana free of charge..... but the plastic bag has a cost of " "
The problem is the Judge won't hear it. He will ask you what makes a plastic bag worth that much money. Then you will have to answer him. Once you do, you're fucked.

Actually you're fucked once you were stupid enough to do patient to patient sales in a state where it's illegal.

My specific answer would be this.

Market value is determined by a willing seller and a willing buyer. If we agree that is the price then that is market value. You have never heard of anyone over paying for something? Pt Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute.

Next question?

I am not worried! Again I am a delivery person and I charge like all other delivery services according to weight. The medicine is free!

Here in LA I go to the dispensary and get meds for $100-140. Sounds like the Arizona system is kinda flawed.

If they ever get dispensaries open we will be able to do so also. The problem is our AZDHS and Brewer have tried to stop the dispensaries then have the audacity to say we can not get paid. Which would not be so bad but they do not let us grow outside in a residential area legally.

I sometimes wonder if we could not get a class action for pain and suffering. Because I have the right to cultivate does not mean I am good at it. State law says I should be able to get my meds and now your preventing me which is causing me pain and suffering.

You can get meds here for 100-140 as well. Just not ounces. I don't know of too many dispensaries in LA that are doing ounces for $100 of chronic

The value of anything is subjective. If i have a blessed magical paperclip and sell it to you for $80 - good for the both of us.

you are aware of the "NOT FOR PROFIT" clause? What you trying to do...make house payments?
How do you justify more than 50/z?

I would too. Just saying that $50/z would be reasonable.
How many of us can afford $200/z for meds,?....I can't. I really don't foresee "compassionate" prices at the dispensaries, though I've heard of some good things happening in CO.

I live south of Tucson.

Have you tried growing yourself? That is the only "fair" way that you can begin to approach that number.

Growing your own is very fucking easy, it simply takes a lot of work, a lot of trial and error, time away from other things you might want to be doing, investement in equipment, investments in replacing that new equipment you just bought, risk of fire, risk of theft, risk of prosecution, nutrients, clones, micro supplements, fans, new air conditioners, exhaust systems, construction costs, soil/medium, humping R/O water in 109 degree heat once a week, irrigation, pest control, medical grade clean-up, disposal, the guts to open up an SRP bill in August...i am sure i am missing a few of the joys of growing $50 Ounces of Medical Grade Marijuana.

You will also have to ask your wife to generally plan around green ladies, because Mother Nature waits on no one - vacations, weekends away, business trips.

Shit...gotta go, lights just turned on and i have about 45 minutes of garden work to do this morning before my real life begins.

I'm so amazed at peeps bitching about prices. Price is what you're willing to pay... if you don't like the $100. a plate dinners at the super restaurant, go hang out at mcdonalds or your local dumpster.

Included a pic of an old Jack daniels box. The inside of the box has this message printed out over 70 yrs ago.

I dont think $50 ounces of "top-shelf" is reasonable for the producers to offer.
Maybe of a lower-grade product from a larger yielding/ outdoor harvest would meet that price point...

$200-$250 a Z for serious/the best medication is what I would expect compassionate outfits to offer.

I know, I know, CO is great.. some places have $180 ounces, but most of it is greenhouse.
Not that there is anything wrong with gh but it costs way less to produce than indoor.

HB is correct, Nobody is forcing people to pay the high prices.
There is always another option and if one doesnt mind schwag, than $50 a Z is way more than reasonable.
