Prevent Root Rot - RDWC

I grow in a 4x4 - 4 site with a res outside the tent.

I do not have a water chiller - cant afford one, may build one at some point though.

Temps : 73-78 on average
Water temps: 72-76 on average

Nutrients: GH Flora Trio, GH CaliMagic, GH Rapid Start

What can I use to assist with root rot or beneficial for the roots / res?

Going to pick up GH Armor Si today, would FloraBlend be another good one to grab?

southern ag garden friendly fungicide- same active ingredient as hydroguard (bacillus amyloliquefacens), way more concentrated, dirt cheap. i run it at .2 ml/gal
pool shock- calcium hypochlorite, commonly used to sterilize swimming pools. also dirt cheap. ive seen it run at .015-.02g/gal. no experience with it in my own garden, but my dude that does run it has nice roots and good nugs

Is the organic formula okay for hydroponics though?

Going sterile will be best for you like this guy suggests with calhypo. UC roots will do this too.

Cal hypo in particular. So sterile systems are good. No organics with it though. So no bennies or hydroguard etc.
Can use bleach to go sterile.
I make my own hypocloric acid.

Gotcha. Hmmm idk what to get. I'll probably go with Hydroguard and GH Armor Si

Im gonna say i agree with @thenasty1 , use Southern ag if your not gonna use a chiller. I did a whole grow without a chiller ( it was during colder months ) but my res was anywhere from 68 to 77 during the entire grow and i had no issues. Someone on the forum told me about Southern Ag and I gotta say its a must if u dont have a chiller. Use about 2ml per 10 gallons or .2 ml/gal like he mentioned.

I decided against hydroguard actually... Southern ag is sold out everywhere locally. May see about this stuff called Monterey with the same ingredients as southern ag.

trichoderma harzianum. kelp4less has a water soluble powder for reasonably cheap. im not sure its necessary, but it is a good preventative for fusarium (which is uncommon, but better safe than sorry i say)
