Pretty please help me with a few questions about my outdoor grow

Hello all, hope everyone is doing well. I was hoping some one might be able to point me in the right direction.

I just pulled up my four current outdoor plants yesterday due to bad weather/snow. I guess that's what I get for trying to get a Headstart… But I'm about to plant four more seeds soon. I just started germinating them tonight.

I'm wondering once the seeds crack, can I go ahead and immediately put them outside in their outdoor permanent pots? Or should I let them veg inside for a couple weeks before putting them out? Also if I can put them straight outside, or even maybe after vegging inside for two weeks, would you recommend me putting up a little screen wall or something beside each seedlings so they're not getting a full days sunlight towards the beginning?

The previous three years I would veg inside for about a month before moving them out. Then I would move them outside to the side of the house where they only get about maybe three hours of direct sunlight a day to get acclimated before moving them in their permanent pots. That way seem to work pretty good. But now I feel like I am a bit behind so I would like to get them outside as soon as possible.

if they crack and you put them in their pots outside they will be fine if you let them veg inside then put them outside you will have to ease them into sun more an more every day.as in move them into shade part of the day an then into the sun. if they grow out of the ground or pot OUTSIDE with a normal daylight amount that will be what they are going to be used to,so they will not have any trouble.

think of it like this if you dont go outside for a month and stay in low light settings and then you spend 12 hours out side at the end of a month whats going to happen? your going to burn to a crisp...now if you spend a month outside then keep going outside what will happen? you guessed right nothing just be a normal day. hope this helped

Thanks for your reply! That's pretty much what I was thinking, that if I set it out there immediately it wouldn't need to adapt, it will just hopefully take off.

Now I started thinking about birds and what not swooping down and eating the seeds, that would be my luck LOL. I think I will move them outside immediately but start them off in a little screen cage or something for a little extra protection. I definitely don't want to screw up the second go around..

ya i plan on doing the same thing especially since my grow is a deep wood gorilla grow i have deer hogs rabbits and so on to deal with haha. Good luck

If you start them outside, after they crack, they will be ok.
Taking them outside after being inside, you would have to get them used to the higher lumen from the sun.
Either way, make sure at least a few nice days in a row. A rain can uproot the plants if they have not had a few days to puts roots into the soil.
Something like a net or a tomato cage works great for keeping structure and some animals away too.
