my grow room is 5ft x 5ft and 8 ft high running a 400 watt hid with an air cooled hood, and four sets total of 8- 42 watt cfl's. it has a small dedicated a/c unit mounted at floor level. I am able to keep the temp range between 72- 76 degrees. now the problem, over the last few grows the smell has got really bad or good depending on your point of veiw.......so I bought and installed vented to the attic a 6 in can fan and a can filter 33. this took care of the odor problem. now I can not keep the temp down think I have blown the pressure in the room and along with the odor getting pumped into the attic so is most of the a/c and temp's are in the mid 80,s anyone have any idea's? thanks in advance.

you can't run your exhaust 24/7 or you'll just be exhausting all the air that you're cooling right out of your room. try putting the exhaust fan on a timer. for example my room has an ac in it at ground level like yours. i run my exhaust to carbon filter fan to come on only for a minute every 30 minutes or so. this keeps the odor under control and the room at the correct temperature

good advice, probably the only way to do it without investing in a c-filter.
