New system is 4x2 vivosun tent with 2 Parfactworks RA1000 LED left and right with 1 Vivosun VS2000 LED center. Nutes are , Complete Crop 9-5-15, Mycro+ 3-0-3 and Flower Fuel 1-34-32.
Now the real reason I jumped back into this crazy and sometimes argument laden site is the age old question on CO2....OMG Here we go again!
Yah-yah, I know 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water and about 2 tsp champagne, get a 2$ check valve for fish tank from Walmart and run tube to smaller bottle and the out over the plants...blah blah blah. Not that I cant afford a high end CO2 Gen. I'm just not keen on having a live bomb in my bedroom. What really peaked my interest that I never heard before was this idea of watering with Seltzer no sodium??? gets me thinking about my own monster super soil of 25% clay rocks and 25% co-co and 50% Fox Farm would allow for good drainage and allow oxygen to the roots...but am now thinking Seltzer would really be able to penetrate to the root system thus giving co2.
So I guess the question is do I use CO2? is it better to use DWC or soil? Is my planed lighting going to be overkill at 34 inches above? Has anyone else used the nutes I plan on using? I'm going to log on every couple of days and once I get the system set up I'll be posting photos and week to week grow progress reports to let others see and to take advice. Happy growing folks.
