Prepping site

I'm prepping my site this week..Digging big ass holes where I'm going in ground and clearing REALLY thick swampy,wetland grasses for where I'm using my DIY smart pots (Manina Pots). How soon is too soon to amend the soil? I'm planting my clones in 6 weeks (May 11-12).
Should I wait a few weeks or am I OK to start blending my native soil with the organics now?

Growing in swampy ground? I'd be worried about floods, drowning your roots, etc. Weed likes sandy soil. Also i dunno if you tried digging in swampy ground before but you'll end up with a small pond not a hole

Snot...It is basically an experiment. By May 11-12 the area I putting the pots in will have somewhat dried out. Might be moist for another month after that but not boggy. The area is fed by a seasonal stream and that stream is all but done now. The part of Oregon I live in basically gets very little rain from June-Oct. So by the time the roots work down to the native soil under the pots it'll be fairly dry.
