Preparing to Flower!

We need some advice on how to switch our plants to flowering.. Do we just switch it from 18:6 to 12:12 just like that or do we change it from 17:7 then 16:8 and so on? Any other advice would be helpful!

NO st8 to 12-12. u can put it in dark fer a day er 2, to induce flowering.

its the dark hours that triger it thats y people do 24 hours on in veg....NO dark.

switch it over to 12:12, and your set. You can give it 24 hours of darkness or more before the next time the light comes on to help induce flowering quicker.

Okay thanks, by the way, in my biology class, we learned that periods of darkness are critical for plants to produce certain enzymes, so without darkness during vegitation, the plants will take longer to grow.
