I've done that before when I was newer at growing. Didn't notice much a difference but I think grower error may have had something to do with it lol.
I can imagine it works good to get through a bunch of large seed batches fast. Plus you end up with a bunch of tall, lanky mother's you can top and train easily. Then you get the monster crop effect I think it's called. Where you get a nice bushy growth from the flower clusters when it revegs.
Just wondering how much time it saves you overall? I can generally sex my seeds "naturally" by about week 5-6 pretty accurately (about 95%). Obviously varies with sativa leaning plants.
I'll have to try this again on my next seed run and see if it really saves me any time. Should give plants the same effect from taking flowering clones and revegging, right? The monster crop or super crop I believe it's called?
