premature curing

So a couple of branches broken off one of my plants and I was just wondering how to cure the premature buds off those branches?

Hang the branch in cool,dark,ventilated area till stem snaps.Then cut buds off stem (or leave on if prefer),place in glass jars.Open up every day and keep away from light and heat.

i hear this until snaps, but my buds are dried to bristle why the branch still bendy

sorry for your lost, you can take a fan leaf off and put it in the jar with the buds to try and revive it.... pay close attention, open once or twice a day to prevent mold! wish you luck!
