Wot lights r u using by the way don't worry u will have glorious bud in a few weeks.im not sure y their lagging a bit mabay the stones have something to do with it but all in all u have a really nice looking plant be patient and u will b rewarded.

Is there any way there can be light leaking into the grow area on the dark cycle? 
I run a 250W on 12\12 from seed and my plants would look further....nothing to be alarmed about...some take longer to initiate....Just a thought?

pic was taken today, but they only started spitting out pistols like 3 days ago, so that's 9 days into flower. doesn't seem like that long... two plants also showed as male just in the last couple days too. They seemed to have spent the first week stretching like crazy and now the stretching is calming down and preflowers are popping up, but just on the top part of the plant so far, and only about 5 preflowers.
oh and NO WAY on light leaks. I've got them in a lightproof box inside a closet that I tac up two blankets in front of. They have 3 completely sealed light barriers.

yeah I just keep em in the back, where I don't really mess with them. Just gotta make sure my last two plants (if male) get promptly removed to get the good sensi.Your good.....watch those bitches bloom buddy!

oh yeah im happy. just sad I had to kill off the others. but what can ya do? it was a good learning experience examining the root balls of those males though.

Yea mate I went on holiday for a week and the guy I had watching them didn't do a great job .temps got up to 37c and one Hermeid and it was one I was going to use as a mum ended up having to do the same as u but like u say it gave me a chance to c how the roots were progressing.

yeah im using cfls 
. fucking lots of em though. I think I have 17 CFLs in a growbox that's 3"x3.5"x5ft tall. a couple 200w equivalents and lot of 100w equivalents. theres probably like 1000 actual watts of cfl going in there.
one thing that's been concerning me though.. I understand the plants need '12 whole hours' of complete darkness. My timer is like 4 minutes off, meaning they switch off at 5:54pm and back on again at 5:49 or 5:50AM. Would it make any sense at all for me to kick the timer up a half hour so they end up with 12.46 hours of darkness, or would that just be retarded?
