View attachment 2289681 hey guys this is my purple kush plant, planted in april.. it is showing pistils now so im wondering when i should do a bloom feeding... i have gh micro gro and bloom, and gh floralicious bloom. i want to give them a half tsp of each bottle per gallon. any suggestions
 
cute plant. and you can start bloom nutes now if you want. if your seeing preflowers. waiting about a week wont hurt either. its up to you.

it is in a spot that gets sun from 11- 4 so im not sure as to why its so small, i recenty topped it to encourage branch growth because it was getting close to budding and i dont want a small yeild.. i am also wondering.. its very green so should i wait a little for the nutes while like troythepooh said.. it has been showing pistils for about a week..

it's in veg.. it's suppose to be very green.. when you say showing pistils do you mean.. pre flowers kinda poping out here and there or.. looks like a clover flower?

why add nutes to something that looks good from the pic shown..
 
"why add nutes to something that looks good from the pic shown.." thats why i said its very green so should i wait a while... and i mean pistils with white hairs coming out behind all the stipules. some white hairs have gone back into the calyx mayb or they havent even came out yet..
 
I am new here....hello...I have quite a few plants that are still not budding yet. They have the pistols on all the branches. Is there anything else I should be doing? I started them indoors after germinating and transplanted them to the garden with ample room and light.
Just figured for the height of 3 feet I would have actual buds by now. Am I too impatient?
Thanks for any direction.

Plant where the plant gets full sunlight the minute the sun breaks the horizon. Shade in the late PM if any. Immediately at sunrise or ASAP.

What is your light info and light schedule (sunrise, sundown, hour light strikes your plant after sunrise, hours of full sun) ? Medium growing? Strains?
 
When growing outdoors the most important consideration is light. Not water. You can carry that and probably will at some point for nutrient feeds if nothing else. Not stealth because if it ain't got light it will be so frigging little comparatively that nobody will be able to spot it anyway. Check your local weather. It will list sunrise, sundown and hours of light. Then go to your probable sites at sunrise and see where that light hits DIRECTLY! Then figure on the change of shadow by the movement of the sun (so to speak) during the growing season. Morning light, amigos. Morning light and full light. If any shade must be included then between 3 and 5 is great if possible. Being from the desert southwest that was rarely a concern for me (shade) but light sure was on each and every plant.

No such thing as too much light, just too much heat. I'm well aware of the heat/THC cycle.
 
I personally wouldn't feed bloom nutes until you have nickel sized buds on most of the upper half of the plant.......they don't really need it yet.....they are still going to be sucking up some nitrogen in the transition
 
yeah i was thinking that frenso.. it happened last year all the plant leaves were fucked up during floweing,, the buds didnt cherry n it sucked. this year plants green and healthy i just want to have no burn and a good flush.
 
Genetics and grow location are the two main factors for flowering. Also, using a nute with high N can stall the flowering period.
 
Yeah......my nutes had a 15-30-15 ratio.......the N still wasn't enough.......The plant needs a lot of N in early flowering.....it doesn't really need the high P-K nutes till like the 2nd or 3rd week of flowering ime.
