Preflower or Male under 18/6 400w MH ??

i have heard the term preflower, but these look male to me !

is that possible under 18/6 400w MH light ??
all the other 6 are fine !

hmmm...looks to me like an autoflower strain...

its really hard to tell from those pics?

where did the seeds come from? bagseed or from a breeder?

can you get any shots of the nodes?

its a whole bunch of different strains that i have collected from friends who have complained when finding seeds in thier dope they have paid for.
i have no idea what strains they are.

i also have no idea what an autoflower strain is, but if it is what it sounds like then that would explain it

an autoflowering strain is as what the name describes. it flowerers automatically, therefore it can grow from seed to fully flowered without having to change the light cycle.

i think what you might have is just preflowers on your plants but without some clearer pics its really hard to tell.

what happens if you try to clone a autoflower strain ??

i still cant tell from those photo's either sorry, someone with abit more knowledge than me will come along soon and might be able to help more.

Autoflowers are hard to clone because they have virtually no veg cycle, they grow for a couple of weeks but start flowering automatically. so if you took a clone you couldnt veg it out to grow bigger it would simply start flowering as soon as it recovered.

your plants look far to big to be an autoflower come to think of it? i would have thought they would be full of bud at that size?

None of the pics are clear enough to really see but it appears male.

Preflowers on my grow all showed up on the same day just over a month into the grow on 400W 18/6 so no worries to be getting them.

Bummer on not knowing the strain though, that would help stuff out a lot. Try to get a better picture if you can, use macro settings if possible and ensure you are focusing on the flower area. Crop before you upload it possible as well. But the main thing is to get better focus on that part so we can give you an answer.

What makes you think you have a male? I can't see any pre-flowers.
As far as cloning, I don't think it would work. You're suppose to grow a strong female for 6-9 months, before taking clones. By that time your plant should die since the auto-flowering would only lead to it's early demise.

Males usually show sex before females. If they have balls like grapes, they are male. I don't see 'em, so maybe it's a female. One can only hope : ]

there were small balls there, and they are still there.
they havent gotten any bigger, and by now if it was a male they would be everywhere.
im just gonna roll with it and wait another week or so and see what happens.
once males get into full flower there is no double if they are males or not, so thats what im waiting for
