Alright finally can get the damn picture up now im home on meh wifi
Those look nice.
As long as it seals out air.
A rubber seal would prolly beat the normal 'lids' that are sold thith Mason type jars.
I question how these lids correctly seal after burping the jars.

and Dannysayo, I wouldn't boil them unless you're going to use the jars for canning. Sealed until you open it again.
I'm going to soak my new lids next harvest. Had some bad smell but good weed.
Still scratching my head on that question.

They should be cleaned and or boiled at first as well as the lids and bands.

Jar Cleaning

Before every use, wash empty jars in hot water with detergent and rinse well by hand, or wash in a dishwasher. Unrinsed detergents may cause unnatural flavors and colors. These washing methods do not sterilize jars. Scale or hard-water films on jars are easily removed by soaking jars several hours in a solution containing 1 cup of vinegar (5 percent acidity) per gallon of water.

I only use special advanced nutrients brand jars (CureX). They enhance flavor and improve the cure by 10%.

Weed prosumers should use AN for everything!

In my area there are a lot of thrift or second hand stores. In most I find cookie jar type things with a plastic seal for about a buck. Like Danoo said hold 3 zips or so. I use them to cure cause they hold more. Then put in ball mason jars for longer term storage.

It's easier to get the kief out of jars though. It fuses with the plastic bags and makes it impossible to recover all of it. You can just swipe your finger across the bottom of a jar when it's empty and get a few bowls of awesome kief. Whatever hash sticks to the jars can just stay there for the next round of buds.

I like jars with mouths wider than my palm and not very tall, so i can easily reach all the buds.

It's easier to get the buds out of a plastic bag, sometimes I crush a few of the buds getting them out of glass...
