pre flowers =hermie?

a friend told me today that a female plant in veg. showing pre flowers has lot higher chance of going hermie.I ve looked through the forums and have seen nothing to confirm this. normally id just ignor a comment like this but hes a credible source.Whats the true story? is my friend just mistaken?

A fem showing pre flowers is going to become a hermi? I think he would have to explain that one! Does he mean showing pre flowers early? KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

aplant will show pre flowers only when it is sexually mature.He said if in veg you find a plant with female pre flowers its chances of going hermie are alot better.I dont think its correct but want some verification b4 i tell him hes wrong.

He's not including genetics or the ever preflowering in a shorter veg period,the Lowryders'. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

so then your saying it to then? a plant in veg (24 hrs light) showing female pre flowers has a lot better chance of going hermie?

ummm... most cannabis plants will show at least tiny signs of preflowers once they reach maturity; even in vegetative growth. i have a few plants growing outdoors and its not really a 12/12 light cycle yet, still to early, and the females are already showing nice calyxes and pistils...

No,I'm saying that it's all do to genetics in a plant. Some plant don't flower at all under 24/0 and some will still flower under 24/0. Genetics. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

All my good genetic plants show huge calax's and pistils in veg and I have never had a problem with hermies. When I see female preflowers that means I have a female, it's how you sex a plant without going into 12-12. Some are hard to tell though and 12-12, or a microscope, are needed to determine sex since preflowers are so small/nonexistent.

well my first grow just now showed one pre flower
and its a female as i can see two white hairs coming out of the pear shaped thing
so does that mean i have a female
o and my plant is only two mounths
