Pre-flowers help

i planted about 20 bagseeds outdoor. a couple are female and ive killed a few males but some of them im alittle confused about. it doesnt really look like a ball like the males i killed before but theres no pistils either. it kinda looks like a pear ovalish shape but spiked at the tip like somethings coming out but its just 1 spike sort of looks white idk ill try and get some pics tomorrow its dark outside nowbut what do you think form my confusing ass description? :)

sux dude, sorry but that is usually a sign that balls are on their way.. :(
what you see is called the 'calyx' or 'bract' - basically the housing of the main sex organs.. HOWEVER, the female AND male bud sites both have bracts BUT because usually the pistils protrude out of the node slightly ahead of the creation of the calyx, I say that if you are seeing a signficantly large calyx coming out and no sign of a hair-like pistil then it probably is a male.. either way, wait until you can properly identify it (has a ball or stamen) before cutting it down, as some pistils are slow to form! .. good luck!
