Prayers and good thoughts needed.....

Hey guys, so this morning I am heading out to check on my girls and I hear loud banging noise. I look over and see that one of my neighbors is having his old deck tore down and I see this guys head from over the fence (my neighbors are never in their backyard), he looks over at me and says hi. Problem is im 99% sure he probably saw some of my girls. This far along in the season and the size, moving them is pretty much out of the question. I am 100% legal, so Im not tripping off the law, just this dude that probably saw them. I have cameras set up, so if he does try to rip, I will at least have him on video. But damn, what a shitty feeling!! I want to got talk to dude, but I am not positive he saw them. So I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed that all my hard work this summer doesn't get ripped by some POS.

If your neighbor knows you grow, maybe just mention it to him and let him know you are concerned as far as the honesty/integrity of his workers.
If he does not know you grow, put up signs around your plants stating that area is being video'd, and trespassers will be shot.

yeah put up signs that he will see next time he looks over the fence haha.

HMmmmmmmmmm......... "beware of dog", then he'll keep looking for the dog he can't hear

Yeah, I guess the guy/worker is family to my neighbor. I went over and asked for his number because I have some work that needs to be done and wanted to see what he will charge(BS). Got the guys number. Told my neighbor about my LEGAL grow and he assured me that his brother would not be an issue. I have my growers permit posted on the gate around my garden, I also friendly and respectfully reminded him about my camera's mounted around my house/yard. Needless to say. I will be very cautious the rest of the season. Just a crappy feeling!!

Hopefully nothing happens.

Good move i think...now he knows ur serious and not some kid trying to grow illegally.... plus he's your neighbor, worst comes to worse you know where he lives haha

Man that's a shitty feeling. Maybe in the future you can be a bit more stealth. I would venture to guess you'll be fine. Maybe give the dude a little. Give you another protective layer of eyes. After all the cats out of the bag.

I already offered, neither him or his wife smoke. I do feel a bit more at ease after speaking with him though. We have been neighbors for over 5 years now and have always been cordial to one another. As far as being for stealthy, not possible. It is what it is. Like I said, just going to be very cautious the next month or so.



Yeah Indy, he knows whats up. Haha, plus I got his brothers name number and plate number. Not like all that is gonna stop me from getting ripped, but gives me a little piece of mind, since nobody, not even friends know about my garden. put one of my camera signs right next to my growers permit(s)

every person that sees a pot plant is not gonna steal it. Chances are, a hard workin guy like that has more to lose than to jump a fence, to steal a few handfuls of weed. Don't trip..your ok.
