PPP Bud at 6 weeks

Quick question, please don't bash me too bad for this..lol
I am going to need a few buds from my PPP at around six weeks, if my grow is going well will the bud be fairly decent to smoke?
I am at 11 days of 12/12 with 3 LST'd plants in an ebb&flow system. At the moment they are under 420 watts CFL, I am upgrading this weekend to a 250 watt HPS and will use some of the CFL wattage for side lighting. I will post pics if anyone wants to see..

just wait man. 6 weeks is to short even for hydro. sure it wil be smokeable. and will prob get you high but still,it will be wayyyuy better in at least 8 weeks.unless you have a strain like top44 or some other super fast flowering strain. good luck. post some pics if you got em . that will always help. :joint:

You barely got budsites, man. I'd wait, since you're just barely flowering. Switching to 12/12 does not mean "flowering". 1st day of hairs.. that's "flowering". Also, if you just pop buds off at 6 weeks, they'll taste like nutes unless you flush for a week prior to your picking, in which case, you'll be slowing growth on the entire plant.

Bottom line is it's just not worth it. PPP is too nice a plant to do that to.

If you harvest buds at 6 weeks you may as well pitch them into the garbage. What a waste.

Thanks, thats all I needed to hear, I'll have to find her something take take to the beach.. BTW: I wasn't going to touch the mains at all, maybe some of the popcorn buds. But I really don't know what I'll have by then anyway..

Actually, the pics didn't show much but there were hairs on that day, I'll be updating with a pic later today.

I need to wait and see what they look like around then, but in any case I would only have taken some of the small stuff(popcorn), not any of the mains.

Here are my Indica girls @ 6~7 weeks... 600 HPS...

I don't believe they would be this mature under a 250W...

I would suggest a 400w air cool it if you need to...

My air cooled 600 goes in a 36"x20"x54" tent with no issues at all... but the ventilation is proper..

Along with the Kief from it's trim...

Fucking tasty and stony as hell... but then again, people have different standards...

I am just a newb growing bag seed, and appearently smoking what should be in the garbage...lol...

Sweet!! How many plants do you have under the 600watts? I just have the 3 and as you can see in the pics, they are pretty compact (bushy). I just added the 250 watt HPS today, I was doing an all CFL grow and had a total of "420" watts. I added the HPS today and cut back on the CFL's to around 115 watts.

But I am still a newb.. less than 6 months in hydro...

This is the first time I have achieved full rotation with everything working like a machine...

And I still choose my nutes based on the picture in the bottle...lol..

I am a newb...

Lucky enough to realize that I should follow a recipe, but still a newb...lol
