ppm?

ppm.. from all the information ive been pulling 2gether ppm is read from the amount of neuts that are in the water or planly how conductive the water is.. my question is when checking my resivore what are some general guidelines to follow... ex. when the ppm reaches a certian number i should empty the resivore.... is this procedure / the guide line for changing the resivore water and neuts..?? (i ask because i am running prozyme from the humboldt line) or if any one has a general ppm to grow/flower week chart that would be helpful

in veg I stay at 200-300 ppm first 4 weeks of flower I try and hit 450-550 ppm
the last big push for harvest I am around 700-900pppm

all that depends on the strain being grown.

yea. during flowering you can run your ppms real high. i got to 1200ppm before the leaf tips burnt. oh. as your plants drink water the strength of your rez ppm usually goes up. just keep your rez topped up everyday! add plain water if the ppms are too high, add nutrient solution when you need to raise it or if its good. Example... if your ppm in the rez is 1000 and its low 1 gallon and you want the ppm to be 1200 add some nutrient solution with a ppm of like 1400. the ppm will balance out and raise it a little. experiment and use cups to practice.

It's the opposite. You can run a much higher ppm level in flowering. Advanced Nutrients has a feed chart level that goes up to 2000 ppm. Probably not going to go that high, but when adding any flowering stimulants or anything your ppm level can easily hit 1200.
